The importance of you. Sounds like such a conceited statement, doesn’t it? What if it wasn’t? What if I told you, that your importance is beyond measure?
Would you find yourself nodding your head in agreement with me? Or would you be shaking your head, listening to what those disparaging thoughts are whispering to you? Saying, “Not me. I am not worthy of such a description. What have I ever done to be important? I see those other women; they are so much more than me. They might be important, but me, I do not measure up. I am a nobody and I feel so broken.”
Those little thoughts are powerful.
Especially when they are on repeat in our mind. Pointing out each little flaw, each imperfection, every perceived failure. Just picking and picking at us until we don’t even like ourselves anymore.
Those thoughts just keep going and going leading us farther and farther away from what we once knew to be true. Pushing us into the shadows, dimming our light, making us forget about our worth. Our divine importance, that our very soul is great in the sight of God. That’s right my sweet friend…
YOU ARE SO VERY IMPORTANT.
Not because I said so, but because you are his. Have you stopped to consider what that means for you? Do you know why he would claim you? There is light flowing through you and he knows it because he created it. The love, the talents, the potential waiting for you to call upon it. The blessings he has bestowed you with.
If not, take up the challenge to love yourself enough to allow yourself to hear him! He is with you, guiding you, loving you, waiting for you to see. Waiting for you to understand yourself.
To trust the intuition he gifted you with.
You know the one I am talking about. The one that says, you know you are making the right choice. The one that gives you that nudge of bravery. The one that also fills you with dread when something is not right. The one that you question over and over again.
Use that intuition. Now that the time is right (for you are here) ask if you can have that nudge of bravery. Step into you and bring together your faith and mindest. Use them to challenge the worldly perceptions you are living with.
There may be moments where you will want to waiver.
Hard moments. Difficult moments. In those moments remember there are constants even in our changes. In our growth. Your divine truth doesn’t waiver…your faith does. We have all had those moments where our foundation appears to crumble. Yet, we continue on in faith. Safe in the knowledge that he is with us. Even when we doubt.
As we work through this growth, experience our trials, and all that challenges us there is always hope. Because there are those things that do not change.
Never forget the importance of you. You are His. He loves you. You are unique. You are special. You are loved. You are an amazing woman with a soul full of light.
And, you are not alone. You have me and you have God cheering you on! Promise.
